Nordenia USA is part of an international organization known as Nordenia International AG, which subsidiaries are all involved in developing, producing and converting films for: consumer and industrial packaging; technical and commercial applications and; processing as product components. It processes: non-woven materials and plastic fabrics; and material composites with aluminum and paper.
Nordenia manufactures flexible packaging through the use of the latest blown co-extrusion film technology and adhesive lamination processes. Annually, the company receives awards and recognition for its industry leading graphics utilizing rotogravure printing technology.
Applications for its products include: diaper componentry and bags; overwrap films (tissue/towel); films for shelf-liners; surface protection films and labels; lamination film and bags for frozen food, food, pet food, lawn and garden products, hygiene, wipes, etc.
Nordenia USA has the honor of being the first foreign company ever founded by Nordenia, which is saying a lot for a company that is now worldwide. The Jackson (MO) plant is Nordenia's US headquarters and still its only plant in the US. It took over a plant that was formerly called M&W Packaging.
Although Nordenia USA, headquartered in Jackson, is quite a large company with more than $100 million in sales, to Nordenia AG, headquartered in Germany, it is but a speck: the company describes its facilities as: nine locations in Germany, in seven other European countries, and Jackson is grouped with a "further six foreign countries" worldwide.
